Welcome Screen

The Welcome Screen will periodically carry special messages about the iMapMyRun application and from time to time will feature sponsors. The page has two quick entry buttons, one for Recording your workout and one for Viewing your Training. All features can be accessed by the four buttons at the bottom of the screen at any time.

Main Recording Screen

Main Recording Screen

This screen contains the core functionality of the iMapMyRun functionality. It displays six variables tracking your progress during your exercise. You can actually customize the display by tapping the label you want to change allowing you to see all the different variables. The following is a list of functionality and tracked variables: The Start button starts a new training session. Once a training session has started this button will turn into a Stop/Pause-button allowing you to stop your session at any time. The button will also let you resume your workout and continue tracking at anytime.

Distance - The top element on the screen is your distance (miles/kilometers)

Time - The second element on the main screen is your workout time

Average Pace/Current Pace - The third elements on the main screen to show your pace in minutes.

Average Speed/Current Speed - If you tap on the Pace section it will switch to Speed, in this section you can monitor your average speed and current speed during your workout.

The GPS signal icon - This important feature shows the GPS-signal strength indicator in the lower right corner just above the Start button. While iMapMyRun is trying to lock on a GPS-signal this indicator will be black and it will show you a spinner. The signal indicator will turn yellow and then green indicating that iMapMyRun is ready to start tracking your workout. IMPORTANT: For most accurate results wait at least 15 seconds after the signal strength indicator turns green before you start your workout.
